775 First of all, when I began this book, I was a bit hesitant because it will rattled me from the start, but in a good way. It's not for the faint of heart, but rather for believers who want to go further into their relationship with God. We are all aware that the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy because he wants to weaken our resolve to walk in faith. If you have any doubts about where your worth lies, the truth that is repeated in this book is this, "the issue of my value was settled at the cross". It also guides you through the process of unpacking the lies and strongholds that keep you in from experiencing fullness in Christ. One of the goals is to be able to recognize the difference between God's truth and the enemy's lies. Once we have achieved that, it becomes easier to maneuver through life with all of its ups and downs. Discernment is not always easy but is necessary and if we learn how to rebuke the enemies attacks in the name of Jesus, we can start living in victory as Jesus intended. Another reviewer said that the book says Christians can be possessed. That's not true. It specifically states on page 210 that the author does not use the term "demon possession". So "possession" is not an accurate translation. He uses the word demonization which describes demonic influence. We all know there are evil spirits present everywhere that are intent on "influencing" or distracting us. That's biblical and nothing new. Casting out demons happened in the bible for people who were actually possessed and not walking with the Lord. There's nothing "cultish" as the other reviewer mentions, in something that we have been warned of and was practiced in God's word.
